TOP TEN TUESDAY - Top Ten Books On My Winter TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke & The Bookish  and this week is all about my To Be Read list for the winter and with no university for almost a month, it means lots of reading can be done over the winter and christmas period. Here's the top ten book I want to read...

GIRL ONLINE - Zoe Sugg

I have been antipacting this book for as long as Zoe announced she was even writing a book, and it actually came out TODAY - You can get it from Amazon, bookdepository or Waterstones. I'll definitely be getting to read this as soon as possible. I'm excited to see whether it exceeds my expectations.

HANSEL & GRETEL - Neil Gaiman

I recently wrote a post about wanting to read more fairytale retellings and when I saw this on Amazon as an upcoming release I had to pre-order it. I have seen so many people saying how good Neil Gaiman's books are so where better to start than this. It comes out at the start of December so as soon as it's in my possession I'll be reading it.

What better way to bring in the winter months and get me into the Christmas spirit than reading 12 short stories from some of my favourite authors. I have seen so many people talking about this book on youtube and blogs so I'm so excited to get myself a copy and have a read.

DAUGHTER - Jane Shemilt

I recently saw Giovanna haul this in a video and instantly knew I had to read it. I have no idea what it's about but when I saw it in ASDA I couldn't help but be drawn to it. It definitely doesn't look like the cute, fluffy contemporary books I usually read but I think something different is good for a change.

 ONE DAY - David Nicholls

Over the summer I went to the charity shop my Grandma works in and found a few books I thought I might like, including this one. I then obviously proceeded to instagram my excitement of buying the books I'd bought. A friend saw this recently and told me this was one of her favourite books and that I had to read it. So there it goes, onto the books I must read over the winter months.

THE BOOK THIEF - Markus Zusak

I feel like EVERYONE has read this book and that I'm a bit late to this Book Thief themed party and I'm deeply embarrassed by this fact. So, despite the largish size of the book and the smallish sized font scaring me slightly, I plan to read this at some point. Probably in the 3 weeks I'm off over christmas.
A THOUSAND PIECES OF YOU - Claudia Gray

Can we please just revel in the beauty that is this cover? I feel that may be one of, if not the sole reason this book is even on my TBR let alone in my possession. I feel like this book has appeared in quite a few blog posts recently but it so deserves it. My excitement to read this is huge and not just for it's pretty cover. The plot of the book actually sounds so interesting, unlike anything I've read.
LOVE, ROSIE - Cecilia Ahern

As mentioned in a previous blog post, I have a new liking for Cecelia Ahern's books and with the film for this book recently been released I have been wanting to read it since I discovered that the film was based off a book, the film looks super cute so I think the book will too and because of me always wanting to read the book before the film, I will be reading this very soon.

IF I STAY - Gayle Forman

I have been wanting to read this book and it's sequel for so long and only in the past few weeks have I actually bought them. They are next on my mental "I need to read that" list and I can't wait to get to them. They are both only short so hopefully I'll be able to fly through them soon.

WONDER - R.J. Palacio

I only have ever heard good things about this book on youtube and on blogs and it just sounds like something I'd really like. It's been described as being a book that can be enjoyed and loved by anyone of all ages so I'm really looking forward to reading this. I now just need to wait until my bookdepository order arrives so I can read it!

What books are you TBR this winter?
